The new winter schedule takes effect at Schiphol. With seven new destinations added plus nine new routes for airlines, Schiphol once again offers travellers a multitude of direct connections this winter. At the same time, airlines must also discontinue some routes now that the capacity cap at Schiphol has been reached.

With new destinations including Beirut, Eilat, Mombasa, Punta Cana and Zanzibar, the continuation of services initiated this summer to Fortaleza and Orlando, as well as a number of new routes for airlines at Schiphol, travellers this winter can choose from new European and intercontinental destinations. A new route means that an additional airline will operate an existing destination from Schiphol.

At the same time, some routes will be discontinued now that the capacity cap at Schiphol has been reached. This limit has forced airlines to stop operating certain routes if they would like to add new ones. Airlines will also increase or decrease the frequency of flights on a number of routes. The winter schedule will end on 30 March 2019.
