With the addition of new Japan Airlines (JAL) planned operations to/from Helsinki as of 01 July, Finnair Cargo will offer up to twice daily flights on Tokyo Narita route as well as daily Nagoya and Osaka flights during summer 2013.

"We are extremely pleased with the possibility of further improving our product between Europe and Japan", says Finnair Cargo's managing director Juha Järvinen. "With new cooperation, we have up to twice daily flights between Helsinki and Tokyo Narita, which means that in summer 2013 Finnair Cargo can now offer 56 weekly flights connecting Tokyo Narita, Osaka Kansai and Nagoya with our Helsinki hub.

Finnair Cargo's target is to become one of TOP 5 preferred cargo carriers between Europe and Northeast Asia, and this increased capacity on Tokyo route is a crucial part of strengthening our position. Our European cargo hubs; Helsinki and Brussels will offer seamless product and fastest routing via the Nordic Silk Road between Europe and Japan".

The new cooperation enhances our air cargo service between Japan and Europe with new daily rotations operated by JAL, in addition to daily Finnair operated flights.
