My Freighter launches new Urumqi – Urgench route
Uzbekistan-based cargo airline My Freighter successfully operated its first flight on the new route Ürümqi (URC, China) – Urgench (UGC, Uzbekistan), continuing its strategic expansion of the route network as part of building a modern air logistics bridge between Eastern and Western Eurasia.
The flight was operated by a Boeing 767-300F aircraft (registration UK67018) and transported over 50 tons of cargo, primarily related to e-commerce. The route will be serviced twice a week, providing regular and reliable cargo connectivity between China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the western regions of Uzbekistan.
This is My Freighter’s third route from Ürümqi, but it marks the first cargo flight in the history of Urgench International Airport — opening new opportunities for the region in terms of international trade, foreign economic relations, and logistics infrastructure.
The launch was made possible thanks to close cooperation with Chinese partners and further strengthens My Freighter’s position as a leading cargo operator, facilitating efficient logistics between China and Central Asia.
