Wan Hai Lines, WH 503, successfully rescued Indonesia ferry crew

Wan Hai Lines Ltd. 4252-TEU container vessel, Wai Hai 503, received a sea urgent assistance request from KLANG VTS, at location 02-34.17N,101-26.03E, around Strait of Malacca where an overboard Indonesia ferry crew need help while it was on its way departing away Port Klang West Port, Malaysia. After analyzing all collected information, The Captain of WH503, Mr. Yin, immediately instructed all crews to stop the vessel then released a lifeboat to rescue the man. The man recovered after receiving medical care and food supply from crews of WH503. Then Malaysia rescue boat arrived picked the ferry crew for following care and formalities.

Wan Hai 503 successfully rescued the Indonesia ferry crew, not only adhered to the international convention on search and rescue, but also was a good paragon in implementation. Wan Hai Lines Capt.
