Wan Hai Lines Transpacific service adjustment

WHL is pleased to announce that it has confirmed an agreement with COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd. (COSCON) and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd (KLINE) to jointly operate a Transpacific service from South PRC to the U. S. Pacific South West, named SEA service. At the same time, Wan Hai Lines Ltd. will also be cooperating with KLINE and Pacific International Lines (PIL) to jointly operate a Transpacific service from Central PRC to U.S. Pacific South West, named CALCO-D service.

The SEA service is expected to commence on May 10th with six 9,000 to 10,000Teu ships, one by WHL and three by COSCON and two by KLINE. The rotation of SEA service is Hong Kong " Yantian " Long Beach " Yantian " Hong Kong.

The CALCO-D service is also expected to commence on May 10th with six 5,500 to 6,000Teu ships, two by WHL and two by KLINE, one by PIL and one shared vessel. The rotation of CALCO-D service is Qingdao " Shanghai " Xiamen " Long Beach " Qingdao.

Together with above new joint service, Wan Hai Lines Ltd. will enter into a space swap arrangement with KLINE on CALCO-B (CCB) service and COSCO Container Lines on CEN service, hence providing customers with additional service coverage. The port rotation of CCB is Shanghai " Ningbo " Long Beach " Oakland " Tokyo " Yokohama " Nagoya " Shanghai and the port rotation of CEN is Xinggang " Qingdao " Shanghai " Prince Rupert " Long Beach " Oakland " Xinggang.
