United Cargo expands TempControl services

United Cargo announced it will expand its service for temperature-sensitive shipments by adding Lima, Peru and Taipei, Taiwan to its worldwide TempControl network. This will increase the number of locations certified to provide United Cargo TempControl service to 47.

United Airlines serves Lima via Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM). United operates daily Boeing 767 nonstop flights between LIM and its hub at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston (IAH). Lima is the fourth South American city certified to transport TempControl shipments " joining Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro.

United serves Taipei via Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), and operates daily Boeing 777 nonstop flights between TPE and its hub at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Taipei becomes the tenth location in the Asia Pacific region certified to certified to transport TempControl shipments " joining Beijing, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.
