The FESCO transport group (“FESCO”) accepted a new vessel into the fleet - the FESCO Ulysses dry cargo ship.

The ship left on its first voyage on April 17, 2020. FESCO Ulysses will deliver equipment for wind power stations from China to the Swedish port of Copmanholmen.

The cargo ship is multi-purpose, it can transport, including containers. "FESCO Ulysses" is equipped with modern equipment and has a high class of automation. Its ice class complies with standards allowing operation in the Arctic seas. The length of the cargo ship is 138 meters, the width is 21 meters and the deadweight is 12,711 tons. The crew consists of 14 people, the captain is Oleg Ivanov.

The ship got its name in honor of the bay located on the southern coast of the Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula (Primorsky Territory).

FESCO is consistently implementing a fleet renewal program, so at the end of last year, two container ships FESCO Moneron and FESCO Magadan became part of the Group’s fleet.
