PortMiami welcomed the CMA CGM Bali to the seaport. The Bali has a capacity of 15,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU). The container ship is part of the Manhattan Bridge shipping route, which connects China to the U.S. East Coast Ports through the Panama Canal.

“The arrival of the Bali confirms that PortMiami has the capacity to welcome larger vessels,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “This ship symbolizes a new era in transportation by combining innovation and environmental consciousness in the shipping industry.”

“We are grateful for our partnership with CMA CGM,” said Hydi Webb, PortMiami Director and CEO. “We are committed to collaborative and sustainable maritime practices and a greener future for our port and community.”
