Port of Xiamen container throughput second fastest-growing in China
Southeastern port of Xiamen - opposite Taiwan - recorded a 17.3 per cent per cent increase in container throughput to 2.42 million TEU during the first four months of the year, making it the second fastest growing in China after Dalian.
In the same period, the port's throughput tonnage climbed 13.9 per cent to 59.61 million tonnes, according to Xinhua's report. (Source: Shipping Gazette)
