Germany is now part of Pegasus Cargo's new sales structure for Europe with the appointment of ABDA Cargo Services as the Turkish carrier's general sales agent (GSA) there.
This is an expansion of ABDA's work for Pegasus. It is already its GSA for Austria, Denmark, France, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Pegasus Cargo delivers freight to 78 destinations in 31 countries. Vice president of Pegasus Cargo, Aydin Alpa, says: "During 2013 we transported 8.2 million kilos of cargo, a rise of 50 per cent compared to 2012, and our aim is to transport 10 million kilos in 2014. Our new network of cargo general sales agents is in line with Pegasus Cargo's mission of on-time and quality service in which we give the utmost importance to the service provided by our sales agents. As we increase our share of the market with these new partnerships, we continue to keep the satisfaction of our customers uppermost in our minds." In February Pegasus announced that ABDA would be its GSA for Austria, Denmark, France, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland and that the sales agent Aviation Services was its agent for Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo and Macedonia. Aviation Services is also Pegasus' GSA for Romania and Serbia and on 16 March it became the agent for Greece.(Source: ACW)
