NYK Line will launch a new ro-ro service connecting Houston with the west coast of South America. The NYK Chile Express line will begin service on July 24.

The new service will include direct calls to South American ports in Ecuador, Chile and Peru as well as Manzanillo, Panama. Each of the four countries ranks among the Port of Houston's top 15 trading partners.

The port rotation will be: Baltimore, Md. Jacksonville, Fla. Houston, Vera Cruz, Manzanillo, Guyaquil, Callao, Iquique, and San Antonio, Chile. (Source: BreakBulk Newswire)
