MSC launches Sambar service

MSC is pleased to announce a new standalone service named Sambar, connecting China with Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, providing additional direct corridors and fast transit times.

Additionally, MSC will be enhancing the Pertiwi service, to establish faster connections from North and South China to Indonesia, and the Orchid service, connecting South China and Vietnam. These will commence October and November 2025, respectively. The upgrades aim to increase service reliability and further strengthen their market position.

Designed to provide more efficient and reliable shipping services, the first sailings will be as follows:

-  Sambar: MSC Vigour HR544A - ETA Dalian 29 October 2025
-  Pertiwi: Athena HW544A - ETA Busan 29 October 2025
-  Orchid: MSC Makalu III HD545A - ETA Fuzhou 5 November 2025

Sambar rotations: Dalian – Incheon – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Da Chan Bay – Dong Nai – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Penang – Pasir Gudang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Busan – Dalian
