MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is updating its network to better serve shippers moving cargo between Asia and Europe via the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

The objective of the reshuffled network is to enhance schedule reliability and offer better coverage in those regions to ensure we match our customers’ expectations. The implementation of the new network is planned for early April 2020 and remains subject to further updates.

Updates on Asia to North Europe and the Mediterranean network concern:

*  Lion Eastbound – adding Laem Chabang and Nansha, and omitting Vung Tao and Ningbo

*  Shogun Eastbound – adding Vung Tauo and omitting Nansha

*  Condor Westbound – adding Colombo and omitting Rotterdam to maintain Hamburg competitivity

*  Tiger Westbound – adding King Abdullah

The other East-West trades remain unchanged.
