MASkargo flies cargo on board A380 jetliner to London

MALAYSIA Aviation Group’s subsidiary, MAB Kargo Sdn Bhd (MASkargo) recently executed a bold move by flying a Malaysia Airlines’ A380 aircraft to London carrying only cargo onboard.

In a statement, MASkargo said flight MH04 departed the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 9.50am on Tuesday with 26 tonnes of cargo made up of mostly e-commerce goods originating from Guangzhou, China.

MAS kargo chief executive officer Ibrahim Mohd Salleh said: “This is definitely an innovative and beyond-the-box approach on our part, as no other Airbus 380 equipped airline that we know, has done this.” (Source: Focus Malaysia)
