Hapag-Lloyd adds Swedish port of Halmstad to its service network

Effective September 7, 2015 Hapag-Lloyd will offer a weekly call at the Swedish port of Halmstad. The call will be added to the existing Sweden Denmark Express Service (SDX) and offers a competitive transit time as well as a direct link to the major North European hubs of Hamburg and Bremerhaven.

The new port rotation for the SDX service is as follows: Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Helsingborg, Halmstad, Gothenburg, Aarhus, Bremerhaven.

Halmstad is a port city in the province of Halland on the Swedish west coast, located about midway between Gothenburg and Malmö, informed a release.
