Hanjin, PIL and 'K' Line to offer joint China-Straits service

Hanjin Shipping expands its intra-Asia service network by launching China Straits Express service operated by Hanjin Shipping, K Line and Pacific International Lines.

Jointly operated by Hanjin Shipping, K Line and Pacific International Lines, this new service will be operated on a weekly basis with 4 of 2,500 TEU class vessels, taking effect on April 20th, 2015.

The new service will cover ports in China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam and detailed port rotation is Qingdao " Shanghai " Ningbo " Laem Chabang " Singapore " Port Klang " Laem Chabang " Hochiminh City " Xiamen " Qingdao.

Hanjin Shipping explains that introduction of this new service will enhance Hanjin Shipping and participating carriers' network and service competitiveness by meeting needs within the region, covering China and parts of South East Asia directly.
