Emirates Shipping Line stated that in light of recent market developments it is announcing a General Rate Increase on its East Africa trade lane in line with market conditions.

The General Rate Increase will be USD200/teu with effect from October 15th 2013 for all westbound shipments to East Africa region from Far East and South East Asia
