Emirates Shipping Line upgrades East Africa services

Emirates Shipping Line announced the launch of two new services - the Gulf Mombasa Express (GMX) and the Gulf India Africa (GIA) with partners. Emirates will be a vessel provider by deploying two ships.

The two new restructured services offer a direct fixed scheduled weekly service out of common ports through competitive transit time; ensuring port delays do not impact the quality of service on either loop.

The Gulf Mombasa Express - GMX service has a port rotation of Jebel Ali " Khor Fakkan " Mombasa " Jebel Ali

The Gulf India Africa (GIA) service has a port rotation of Nhava Sheva - Jebel Ali " Khor Fakkan " Dar-Es-Salaam" Zanzibar " Nacala - Nhava Sheva

The new GIA will commence on 3rd December from Nhava Sheva and the new GMX will commence on 5th December from Jebel Ali

To make these services operationally effective, 4 vessels of 1600 - 2200 TEU nominal capacity will be deployed on GMX service and 6 vessels of 2500 - 2700 TEU nominal capacity will be deployed on the GIA service. Emirates Shipping Line
