CSCL receives fifth 19,000-TEU ship ordered from Hyundai

CSCL has taken delivery of the 18,980-TEU CSCL Atlantic Ocean, the last of a series of five sister ships ordered in May 2013 at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) for US$136.59 million per ship. All of the ships are registered under the Hong Kong flag.

The newbuilding will be deployed on the Asia-North Europe 'FAL 8/AEX 1/AEC 1' service jointly offered by CMA CGM, CSCL and UASC within the 'Ocean Three' (O3) agreement. Cosco, Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping, Evergreen and Hamburg Sud take slots on this loop, reported Alphaliner.
