CMA CGM’s CGX service reaches Caucasus and Central Asia via Georgia
In addition to the 5 current maritime services calling the port of Poti in Georgia, CMA CGM Group is pleased to announce the direct connection of the service SSL MED Caucasus Georgia Express (CGX) with their Rail Transport Solutions from / to Caucasus and Central Asia destinations.
The Rail product permits their customers to benefit:
- Greener solutions to all strategic locations
- Ramp transit time via Poti to / from Caucasus destinations: Armenia and Azerbaijan in 5-6 days
- To/From Kazakhstan major destinations in 35 days, Turkmenistan in 25 days
- Other countries in Central Asia: Kyrgystan and Tajikistan in 45 days
- Uzbekistan in average 50 days depends on the ferry traffic on the Caspian Sea
