Cargolux scores Budapest award

Budapest airport has presented Cargolux Airlines with its Highest Volume Cargo Airline 2014 award during its annual award ceremony in Budapest on 29 January.

With this award, Budapest airport recognizes Cargolux's contribution to its record-breaking year. After more than nine million passengers in one year, an all-time high in the airport's history, the evening was a chance to honor and thank airlines, concessionaires, ground handlers, tour operators and others that supported the enhancement of Budapest's aviation and retail development in 2014.

For Cargolux, it represents a recognition of our efforts to serve the Hungarian air freight community and its surrounding countries and underlines our committment to offer the best possible service to our partners.

Cargolux serves the Hungarian capital with four weekly flights, operated with its modern 747 freighter fleet since April 2nd, 2002. The airline˜s services connect Budapest with the Far East and the Cargolux hub in Luxembourg.
