21 Air incorporates first Boeing 767 freighter

21 Air is finalizing the incorporation of a second Boeing 767-300 Extended Range freighter in the airline’s fleet. This fourth B767 aircraft being added to the fleet, consists of a B767-300ERBCF identified with MSN 30780 and tail number N532LA.

21 Air will operate this aircraft, as an Interchange Operator, in accordance with the Aircraft Interchange Agreement entered with LANCO (LATAM GROUP), a certificated Colombian All Cargo Carrier, the Primary Operator. 21 Air will begin operating this aircraft on a U.S.-South America flight program for LATAM Cargo.

The airline is in the process of adding other LATAM B767-300ERBCF’s aircraft under interchange/sub-leasing basis. 21 Air is also working in upgrading its current type rating certifications to Category II and Category III operations, along with qualifications for Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standards (ETOPS) with the objective to expand its operations capabilities and be able to begin a long haul flight program in the second semester of the coming year.

The airline recently reached its third year of operations as a Certificated Air Carrier and enjoys an immaculate compliance record including recent U.S. Government’s CHEP (DOT) and TSA audits. Founded in 2014 and based out of North Carolina and Miami, 21 Air provides ACMI, CMI and worldwide charter cargo services to global customers. 21 Air has DOT Economic Authority to conduct both interstate and worldwide all cargo services under “Scheduled” and “Non-Scheduled” basis.
