A fast growing and reputed Freight Forwarding and NVOCC, headquartered in Mauritius, having own offices in all the continents, requires GENERAL MANAGER (NVOCC) for their Dubai office urgently.  The applicant should have degree in Business Administration and preferred experience is 10 years or more in a managerial level with a shipping lines or NVOCC in Dubai. 

Job Expectations: 
1. To identify, develop and manage the short-and long-term budgets and plans for the company in order to achieve the sales revenue, volumes and profit targets in line with the business goals. 

2. Contribute to the design of liner trade lanes and solutions to meet the target needs of the market. 

3. Give feedback on competition activities and market intelligence from the region to enable the management to understand the markets, identify potential industry verticals and strengthen service capabilities. 

4. Plan, organise and execute agent strategies in order to achieve or exceed budgeted sales revenues and volumes for the division. 

5. Identify and create long-term business relationships with vendors in the local market in order to establish partnerships for providing competent liner solutions. 

6. Responsible for the target volume growth and maintaining market share in the relevant territory for liner service. 

7. Monitor and control compliance to legal requirements in all operating regions and ports. 

8. To have comprehensive knowledge of trade lane-wise commodity movements. 

9. To plan, manage and control inventory for the NVOCC services. 

10. Ability to establish and manage agents and associates in required countries.
